The Taj-ul-Masjid is a Sunni mosque, affiliated with Tablighi Jamaat, part of the Deobandi movement, and is located in Bhopal, Madhya Pradesh. With a capacity for approximately 175,000 worshippers, it is the largest mosque in India.

The Taj-ul-Masajid takes inspiration from Mughal architecture and is very similar to the Jama Masjid of Delhi. The mosque has three large domes, a pink facade, and two 18-storey high octagonal minarets with marble domes.

It stands in a large (125m x 110m) courtyard with a large ablution tank slightly east of centre. It has a double-storeyed gateway on the east, and class rooms and residential rooms lining the inner wall of the courtyard on the east, north and south. The main prayer hall marks the wesetern edge of the courtyard, and stands on a rectangular base of 75m x 25m.

The main prayer hall has four recessed archways and nine cusped multifold openings. The massive yet ornate pillars in the hall hold 27 ceilings through squinted arches of which 16 ceilings are decorated with petalled designs.
